It is with profound sadness that we have to inform you that our beloved sister and friend, Leslie Esdaile, (“L.A. Banks”) is most gravely ill. She is facing an uphill battle in her struggle with serious illness. Please know that as Leslie needs all of her energy in this fight, she is absolutely not able to receive visitors, answer emails, texts or phone calls, or receive flowers. What she is able to receive is your continued prayers.

Also, Leslie’s medical expenses are mounting at an astronomical rate. If you wish to assist Leslie, a fund has been established to help with these ever increasing expenses. Hard Bitten Chloe Neil Chicagoland Vamps

Ok so I like this series the characters are interesting kinda like QB but w/o the really funny. I think this book is a transition book so not as good as I found the others but it was still entertaining there was quite the unexpected suprise that I did not appreciate but like I said transition we almost never like it when an author switches it up but that is because we can't see what's coming so I am still in.

Overall a good read.

L A Banks is the BOMB

The first 3 of the series

Well if you didn't know you should have asked somebody!! SO here I am in ya face to tell u. This woman is a GENIUS. You know I don't even know who told me about the Vampire Huntress Legend but once I read Minion I was hooked. Now I said vampire and u might say ewww I don't like no stinking vampires but ha ha I bet you will like these books because Mama Banks take you on a thrill ride. From religion to deep down to your soul love these books have a variety of things that will have you and whom ever you turn on to these books in convo for weeks. Trust me when I tell ya. Now a lil about the story Damili Richards is the Millennium Neteru and she and her team of Guardians are here to save us from the worst of the worst come up from the realms below. I mean they even went down to get some that's how deeply they are committed. These books get deeper as the series continues they are def the books that will make you say hummm. I really want to know what you guys think so if you do indeed take my reco and read this series remember to come on back and let me know what you think.
BTW don't forget to check out her website for the BTB (between the books) excerpts these are just a lil taste of the VHL world to hold you over until the next installment and whoo some of them are def enough to hold you over if you know what I mean

Ok so I have been awaiting this book for quite a while and I finally got it YEAH!!!! Boy oh Boy LKH did a damn good job on this one it is just the right appetizer for the big book BULLET in June so we get a double treat 2 books in one year even if it is a small one it's extra so it gravy and GOOOOD gravy if I may say it is def in my top 3 AB books.

Covet The Fallen Angles J R Ward

So I bought this book like the week after it came and just could not get into it I tried and tried but no go. So I thought maybe the audio book and there it was the key I needed. So I just finished it and boy I am in these Angles are a trip and a half but I am a Black Dagger Brother groupie so I already know how the Warden gets down and boy let me tell you if you don't know she is a hot mess JR has way too many people talking in her head it's great to read her stuff. That is why i gave Covet so many chances because I like how she writes. So for me the set up was a lil slow but it was so worth it in the end I doubt the next one will be as slow since the story was established in this one. Overall I liked it and I am sure like the BDB I will grow to love it as the series progresses. So I say check it out it's worth the read or listen as it may be.
